| Another Login Issue...Odd Result
I am having an issue staying logged in and I have searched through the forum and tried most of the "common tricks" but I am at a loss.
Classifieds v3.05 settings for the forum and classifieds are set as follows:
cookie path /
cookie prefix bb
cookie domain .xxxxxxxx.net
One unique thing about this issue is when I get logged out, my forum template will break. IE: Header and footer are still there but the middle section looses all template based colours, this middle part of the screen back ground will change to the white (I have a dark bg) and all fonts change to blue.
Any suggestions??

well if your having issues with your forum template breaking on the forum you might need to report that to vb
The only thing I can tell you about cookies is this. Cookies and Login Problems!!
Make sure if your using vbulletin with the classifieds in classifieds config settings you have your correct vb license number entered not customer number.

Template breaking might be the wrong description of what is happening with that particular issue. Currently my board is offline (I have yet to officially launch it) until I can get these small bugs corrected. If you visit Hardcore Biker and tag the "classified" link, the screen changes from a dark bg to white bg. The most of the time this happens is when you are not logged in.
As far as the cookie issue goes, I have confirmed and re-confirmed everything is how it should be as according the link provided and the instruction manual. To the best of my knowledge anyways. This issue seems to be more apparent in IE6 as oppose to FF or Opera. I am really starting to think that I obviously don't have "an I dotted or a T crossed" somewhere but I can't seem to get it worked out.

I noticed that the link to your classifieds section is this:
http ://hardcorebiker.net/vbclassified
but the link to the main page of the site is:
http ://www.hardcorebiker.net
I think you're still having an issue with a rewrite rule or a setting in the classifieds admin area. I would go into the admin area of the classifieds and click on "edit integration" and make sure that your URL's have a "www" in front of them and give that a try.

Your loading a vb standard error template and as a result your style links are relative not full url
If you open the classifieds what do things look like?
You can edit the standard error vb templates and make sure urls are full urls to files and such.

I changed all the standard image folders to represent the full URL. I noticed a replacement variable controlling some of the CSS. I will change them as well just to be sure. One of the odd things about the "template intergration" issue is that it is really obvious when you are not logged in. Tag the "Classified" link on the forum page and it will break. Not the case all the time when you are logged in. Until (for some reason) the system randomly logs me out, then the template breaks. If you open the classifieds what do things look like?
This are normal when I am logged in and in the classified section. I made a test ad to check, and the pictures and drop down menus, etc all function. There some broken images in a couple of spots. Represented by the dreaded red X in IE
One of the images seem to be pointing to http://www.hardcorebiker.net/image.php?u=1 Which doesn't make any sense to me at all. I've checked all the paths with the classified ACP and they seem ok. You can edit the standard error vb templates and make sure urls are full urls to files and such.
Do you mean to edit each individual template to include the full URL? How can I tell which standard error vb templates are which?

Your board is closed still
The standard error templates are marked real visible in the vb admin area.
I still cant see what your classifieds looks like as your board is still closed.

All the edit integration URL's have a www.
I am going to try and remove that rewrite rule just for fun and see what happens.

I was able to get the template error, log in issue sorted. Thank you for the help.
I was running a couple of test ads, finally being able to enjoy this software. I was uploading a couple of colored pictures and when I view those pictures they are black and white? Is this normal?

| Test - Hardcore Biker Classifieds
they should only be black and white if the pictures are black and white.

Those pictures I uploaded to test some functionality are colored. I tried another color picture with black and white results. Any idea what could be causing that?

Seems to be working great, except for the color issue...or lack there of.

If set for GD2 you need to make sure you have the GD libraries set up on your server.

All my uploaded pictures are showing up black and white.

GD2 should be automatic when installing PHP.
