Automated eMail for Sold Purchases

Hi Chuck,
I'm running version 3.03 of pp_classifieds and I've noticed this problem for ages however not done much about it. But when I sell something via the Classifieds and PayPal, I should get two emails. One from PayPal (sometimes I don't recieve one but that's PayPals problem and not yours) and a second email from pp_classifieds.

The pp_classifieds email I recieve usually comes through like this:

Ron, your ad on <my site> has been purchased.

Your ad has been purchased by <forum username of purchaser> for £<amount in sterling>.

He purchased 1 ads at £<amount in sterling> each.

The purchaser's profile link: http://<my site>/classified/member.php?uid=<forum user_id>

Purchaser's email address: <purchasers email>

Please contact him to arrange for delivery.

Ad link: http://<my site>/classified/showproduct.php?product=1814

So my questions are:
1. What is '&#163' supposed to represent?
2. Why do I sometimes recieve this message with no purchasers email or email?

Well that's interesting.

I've submitted this post and all the '&#163' references in the quote text have turned into £, I guess this answers my question. However as I recieve all my emails in plain text I guess users of my site that also use plain text may also get confused my the mention of '&#163' in their emails.

where is &#163 at is that the currency code?

I can not say why you would get email purchaser email unless they stuff was empty but I dont see how thay would be. I mean in payment we list the user and then we grab the users info

Not without us rewriting the email into html format as far as currency.

In payment verification.php you could try chaning these lines

To say this

Content visible to verified customers only.

Do I simply cut the two lines and replace as instructed Chuck?

If Yes, what actual change is taking place here and what difference are you expecting?

That will render the html characters in an email correctly yes and you replace the two lines with code meantioned.
