useropts and adminopts?

I just upgraded from 2.5 to 3.0.3 today and I'm taking care of a few edits.

I notice that the "adminopts" on showproduct.tmpl shows icons for editing, marking sold etc, but doesn't have any TEXT explaining the icons. You have to roll your mouse over each to see what it is.

Am I missing something or is this intended to be just icons?

I've attached a screen shot of what I've got.

If I'm not missing something then I want to edit this to correct this problem. Where do I find those routines $pmenu and $admmenu?

Those icons are a new thing if you want to use text links then in showproduct options in admin set the switch to use text links not icons.
