Image Upload Issues:

This issue is also occurring with my review script as well.

Upload Product Options has the 'Maximum PHP file upload size?' option set at 2048. If I upload pix larger than this, it does not display the thumbnail, supersize image link is not displaying correctly either. Is there a means of correcting this, or possibly disabling anyone from uploading an image that is larger than allowed. As it stands it will still upload, just with these errors, just wont display properly. The pictures themselves are physically uploaded and located on the server after uploading.

Joey

do you have any images that size you can send me to test with?

I dont have access to any images that size actually they should not be allowed to upload images past that setting

Well, it tested again via the review side and as stated, upload is set to a max of 2048... i tested uploading a .jpg of 2.5mb's and it allowed it to upload but again, displaying with errors..., no thumbnail or anything, and the actual picture is now on the server as well... here's the pic i used to upload.

You can use the following temp account:

I just did a test in both classifieds and reviewpost on my site and I get the correct message

Code:
Content visible to verified customers only.
This is exactly what I was getting at before and is the intended action. I would be interested in how it would be getting past this code which is very explicit. Feel free to supply us with admin login ftp login and url if you wish us to take a look. You are using all current and default files correct?

i've emailed support with the requested info. Unfortunately no, im not running the most current versions for any of the scripts other than reviews as I just purchased it within the last two weeks... haven't felt real confident in upgrading abilities shall we say...

Sorry, when I first saw the email I assumed it was just an auto response to my initial email and hadn't read it. I have replied and provide the information you requested.

Interesting it appears to me your PHP is going whacky over the large upload because your limit on PHP is only 2mb so your server drops the file. Reviewpost is not limited on whether it has an image or not. Photopost would just not upload anything since its centered around an image

Can you up your PHP max uploaded filesize on the server and we can see what happens?

I believe the file i need access to in order to increase the php size is located in my 'confg' folder on the vps. Unfortunately I can not access that folder, and may need to submit a support ticket for this...

Got ya I think that is the issue is php is dropping the file on the server and thus there is nothing to process and things are freaking a little

Wow, so I've come to the unfortunate decision that I need to find another host for my server. Granted I have a limitted support VPS server, I still expect answers to my most basic questions. They wont even answer a question as simple as why i'm unable to access a particular root folder, or where specifically to go to change the php upload limit. Insisted that I must purchase a support ticket at $75... ludicrous. So, at this time I have not yet been able to make that adjustment...
