Yes the auction closed eventually, so here is what I think happened.
I think the auction time ran out around 10pm CDT on the 12th, but by 10am on the 13th the auction was still showing and still counting down.
Either the cron job that ran at 1:00am on the 13th did not successfully expire the ad and stop the auction as it should have, or there is a problem in the way auctions are calculating the time/days remaining in the auction.
What I would expect would happen if it were working correctly would have been that at about 10pm on the 12th the auction would have counted down to zero and no more bids could have been entered, then a couple hours later at 1am on the 13th the cron job would move the ad to the expired queue and the ad would no longer show up online.
Instead "something else" happened between 10pm on the 12th and when I looked at the ad around 10am on the 13th because the ad was still there and still showing a countdown and or a time that doesn't seem to fit any sort of pattern. At some time later on the 13th the countdown stopped and when the cron job ran at 1am on the 14th the ad was moved to the expired queue.
With regard to access to my site, you signed up for a Chuck S account and I gave it access privs that I have not taken away in case you want to come look at anything in admincp with regard to classifieds settings, cron jobs, etc. etc.
I'm going to auction off another similar item soon, I'll see if I can't do more complete screen capturing during the whole process of the ad timer running out and the ad expiring on the cron job, etc. it just means staying up to 1am.
