Removing Ad Fields

Hello Again,

My apologies for being such a pest here. I'm sure you won't have to hear from me so much once I finally have all of this running the way I want it to and get my forum/classifieds open up to the public... but for now, I have one more question as I set things up.

I figured out where to go to add custom fields to the Post Ad form, but where would I go to remove them? For example, we won't be doing auctions so the reserve price field isn't needed and quantity of ads also seems unnecessary for what I'll be using this for. I wouldn't mind editing the options under condition of item as well seeing as people will be selling animals and putting "excellent condition" on a gecko seems a little odd.

I imagine these would be removed/edited in one of the templates, but I couldn't figure out which. And I also wonder if other templates would need to be edited as well to keep these options from displaying after the ad has been posted.

Thanks so much for all your help, Chuck. You've been great.

Okay, I found the lines to remove from the templates. I guess I might not really need to change anything in showproduct since this is a brand new install and no one has posted anything yet... so if they can't enter those fields, I imagine they won't come up on the show product page anyhow. In the end, I only ended up removing the auction option anyhow.

I don't need to edit anything in uploadproduct1, 2 or 3, do I?

Thanks again, Chuck!

If you have fields you wish to remove from those templates yes although reserves auctions etc are only set in uploadproduct template which is for sale.
