I see where an admin can delete an ad but can they edit it?


Are their variables that are common to edit the profile page like if I wanted to show the username at the top or maybe offer avatar support?

You can edit an ad by hitting the edit link when viewing an ad. The links are shown as text links or icons whichever you have chosen.
