Upload quantities of ads setting?

Is there an admin setting to enable/disable this new feature? I thought I had seen it earlier and now can't find it.

Not sure what your asking really to be honest. Do you mean a setting for the maximum ads a user can have per usergroup? There is a max ad setting in Admin => Edit Usergroups that can be set per usergroup.

". Ability to upload Quantities of Ads"
Listed in the 3.0 announcement.

Oh okay.

If you upload an ad you are presented with a quantity box its right after the currency box.

Yes,

But this new feature doesn't make sense for my site, I'd like to turn it off.

I know I can edit the uploadproduct template and the showproduct template and the editproduct template to remove some references to it. But in testing it also has the side affect of changing the Buy It behavior, asking the buyer to choose how many to buy, just confusing if there is never more than one.

I thought I had seen an admin function "allow quantities of items" or similar.

There is no admin switch to turn this off. You would need to to edit out the feature if your insistent on not using it.
