watermark problem when upload image during editing

I use GD2 and activated the permanent watermark function.

All works find when uploading images during the process of placing as ad.
However when editing an ad and then add one more image it does not work with the watermark. Do I make something wrong and do I need to make some changes?

The issue is this with permanent watermarking. There is a switch which tells the program when an ad has been watermarked so if you go back and add more images or change the images they will not be watermarked since doing so would effectively destore other images that may already be watermarked permanently.

would this work with watermarks on the fly? I mean also in case a user edits an ad the watermark will still be seen?

yes watermark on the fly would be displayed on the main display image sure

Then I have to use watermark"on the fly".
I tried to make it work but not yet sucessful. I set "watermerk with overlay product" to NO in watermark Options. Then I set "Enable on the fly watermark" to YES in show ads option.

Is there anything else which has to be changed?

Are you using the full server path to the watermark in watermark options and is that watermark a png image

Yes, I use full full server path to the watermark.png file. I found that it partially works. When I click on the different images the watermark is not there but if I open the image in supersize then I can see the watermark. It that the function?

I do love the permanent watermark (with overlay image) and all works ok for the first time a user places the ad. It's just a problem if the user edits the ad. Is it possible to resolve this issue?

yes because your using a javascript to change images and you cant use a program filelink it needs to be an image link.

Sorry not much you can do about the permanent watermark feature that I see. Not without me adding 6 separate watermarking fields each for one image in the table something I would think about for the future but definately not something within the normal program.
