Pm intergration question

I upgraded from 2.6.1 to 3.0.1 today and was wondering how to enable the PM function...or where that is. Also is this going to be a separate messaging system or will it use the current build in PM system with VB?

Hello

We use our own messaging system and you can enable it via Admin => Global Options. You can PM someone by viewing their profile in Photopost and send them a message.

I was also upgraded to PhotoPost Classifieds v3.02 today, and was wondering about the PM system myself.

I know that a user can send a PM to another user by going to his profile and click "send a message".
However, I was wondering why the "contact seller" button on the Ads go to the old EMAIL page instead of sending him the message through the integral PM system...

Can you please explain our can that be changed, so that "contact seller" on the ad-page will send him a PM instead of an EMAIL ?

Well you can try altering the contact seller thing to do a pm sure but since PM is not designed for this task it could cause alot of issues. Good discussion for the MOD CORNER.

However how is the user to know what ad this contact is for see? The contact script was written for this issue so it is something I will gladly look at please post a suggestion in the proper forum to remind me when I am looking for features for a new version.
