Staying logged in

I have this same problem with vbadvanced also.....

i have set up a link for the classified section at www.arbtalk.co.uk/forum but when you get to the classifieds you arent logged in anymore. typing in your details takes you to the "thankyou for logging in " message but then when it directs to the classifieds you're still not logged in....however if you navigate to somewhere else on the page you are!

Many threads on the forums about cookies

You must set your forum and classifieds to this

cookie path /

cookie prefix bb

cookie domain .arbtalk.co.uk

ive changed the settings to what you said and it still doesnt work for some reason

You can post a url and test login here but if cookies are set as noted it should work fine as that would mean the cookie is site wide. The only way you would lose a cookie over vbadvanced and the gallery to my knowledge is if your locking your cookies to be used over the forum only.
