Can I allow HTML in the ads?

Hi I have 3 questions:

1. A user is asking to allow html in the ads, so he can make his text different colors and bold them.

Is it possible to allow this?

2. Also another question, can I take out the images under "user options" and just use text links there instead?
People say they cant find the "edit" button and the buttons are kind of small and blend in.
Id rather just have text that says Edit, post comment, etc.

3. I want to allow users to edit their ads and not require an admin to approve the changes. I want the ad to just republish.
Can i do this?

Right now it requires me to approve the changes andi want to avoid that.

1. You can not use html but he can use bbcode

2. Set the switch in admin to use text links not the image links

3. If moderation is on then it is required for both posting and editing an ad. If you wish to note moderate ads then you need to turn this off in admin edit usergroups.

Hi Chuck

1. Do you know how I can add text to the description on the uploadproduct.php?

I want to add a line under the description that lets users know they can use BBcode in their descriptions.

2. Where exactly do I change it from text links to image links?
I looked in the admin but didnt see it.

You would edit the uploadproduct template and add html where you wish in that template in admin edit templates.

Hi Chuck,
Im sorry to bother you. but I cant find the "Use Icon Versus Test Link" option.

Im attaching a screen shot of what I see and maybe Im missing it. Or Im in the wrong menu.

No, I didnt know theres an upgrade script I need to run.

If your using classifieds 3.0 run the upgrade.php script it is in your downloaded package.
