Ads uploading without payment

Hi Chuck,

I'm having a problem with payments for classified ads.

I've set payment prices for ads in edit categories and have specified my PayPal details in payment options. However, I cannot find enable payments in the Admin Options sections as instructed.

I have uploaded a mock ad as a user (not admin) and the ad uploaded without payment.

Any idea what I'm doing wrong?

Admin => Edit Usergroups you need to select which groups get to pay

One slight problem Chuck.

I logged in as a normal user and went through the Ad Placing process.

Got to the PayPal Login page to find an extra 1.98 added for shipping

Have been through everything and cannot find any reference to 1.98.

Can you help?

we dont add anything for shipping so I suggest you check paypal to see your not setting automatic shipping prices based on payment amounts.

You set all the payment stuff in payment options and edit usergroups and place prices to post ads in edit categories and they will be prompted to pay.

So which have you not done?

Hi,

I set:
- Payment for Paypal only
- Edit user group
- "Allow Payment?" "Yes"
- place prices to post ads in edit categories "Category Ad Price Info". (I just place prices for one category and it does not work)

here is the category url that I place prices "Agriculture":

It still can place ad without payment

Yes you would need to send us via email an admin login through the contact us link in the header to look at how you have it set.

Your forgetting something that is for sure.

I got your email with login.

There is no way anyone is going to be prompted to pay because in edit usergroups your letting everyone post 100 free ads before they get prompted for payment.

Now does this make sense.
