| change the way sub-cats are displayed?
Not sure if its possible, but is there a way to display the sub-cats into two different columns on the index page? Much the way is set in this screeshot for my forums: Code: Content visible to verified customers only.
Never know until you ask.

oh well, what about incorporating the ability for the member to select his own highlighting color from a set palette? Or have the script automatically apply a different color from the last highlighted ad upon submitting/uploading?

well I dont know about alternating highlights as that would be hard since not all ads are highlighted but the new beta an admin can set the highlighting color in admin.

I am not available anytime in the near future I can tell you this. I am busy with a classifieds beta currently will start reviewpost after that so outside sources are your best bet.

As I would REALLY like to have this feature worked into my site? My classifieds require A LOT of sub-categories that I'd like displayed on the main page rather than hidden, and this results in a LONG list that requires a lot of scrolling to view...
Ideally I could go without the Number of 'Ads' displayed and 'Last Ad Posted' columns, and would prefer the ability to have two columns displaying the sub-categories... that's my wish anyways.
Thanks!

Yeah well without any coding you can try this. I cant saw what you really want as if I understand how you want things the entire way things are coded would need to be reworked. Our stuff displays like a forum so try backing up your current categories template and maybe try this template which would work with how we code things it is the optional gallery view we offer in photopost pro

Thanks for the template, will check it out. Not sure what you mean by 'optional gallery view', but what I have in mind is seen on my main forums page here.
Main Category, with the sub-cats displayed below it, in two columns...
Will the template you provided work with ver. 2.61, as I have yet to upgrade?
Thanks!
