Can not upload photos from a server

I have uploaded some photos to a server, and I have tried the procedure "ADMIN OPTIONS FOR BULK OR ZIP UPLOADS." I have used this before and it has worked, but will not this time. I receive the error message:

"/usr/local/bin/mogrify" +profile "*" -size 100x68 -quality 70 -geometry 100x68 -unsharp 10 '/var/www/html/forum/photopost/data/509/thumbs/lhr01.jpg'

It also says I have 19 photos in my queue. The photos are small, so size is not a problem. How can I upload the photos, and do I have to empty the queue before trying again? How do I empty the queue?

Thanks,

Jim

Check to see if that file is correct. If it fails on the same photo that would appear to be the issue since other photos upload it would appear permissions are correct.

Still no luck.

Even when I try to upload the photos individually, I get the following message on any of the photos:

Error creating thumbnail! Error code: 127

Command:

"/usr/local/bin/mogrify" +profile "*" -size 100x68 -quality 70 -geometry 100x68 -unsharp 10 '/var/www/html/forum/photopost/data/509/thumbs/lhr01.jpg'

Thanks,

Jim

Your path to mogrify is incorrect. You need to put the proper path in edit config settings in admin or in global options set your process to gd2 and try uploading.

I tried that by setting the edit config settings to the proper path that the files are in, but now I can not even bring up photo post to get to the Admin side to change anything.

If you need access, I can send you a PM with the details.

Thanks,

Jim

I think your getting confused by what I am saying

In Admin => Edit Config you have the path to mogrify this is the path you enter where mogrify is on your server not files your trying to upload. A 127 error means we can not find mogrify. Therefore try setting in global options your processor to gd2 not Imagemagick and then try uploading.

Ok, thanks. Now though, I can not even bring up the program to get to the Admin side of it. After I made the changes, the program will not load.

The link to my Photopost board is http://www.777expats.com/photopost/index.php. Do you know a back door way to get in there, as I can not load the board to make the admin's changes?

Thanks,

Jim

There is no backdoor you either need to rerun install and input all the correct urls and server paths or edit the file or database directly and change something you changed. You have had to change something other than we are talking about here if your program does not load now. We have been talking a mogrify path in edit config so you have changed something else either in global options or the config files themselves.

Ok, I will have the sales team do a re-install. If I do this, will I lose the photos and albums?

You will not lose anything if you rerun the install and select to install over the already existing database.

Hi Chuck,

Thanks for the extra help today. I did run the install, and changed the thumbnail generator to GD2. Step 1 and 2 finish, but when I get to step 3, there are a whole lot of errors. Maybe you can take a look. I am using Vbulletin 3.6.5, and Photo Post is to be intergrated.

Thanks,

Jim

Up and running, but one more question.

It is up and running now, and the photos uploaded correctly. When viewing the photos and starting a slide show, I can not get past the first photo. I have the interval set to 8 sceonds.

Thanks for all your help.

If I start the slide show on the first photo in the sequence, it always starts to go backward. There are 19 photos in the sequence. If I start on 19, it works fine. How can I get it to start on #1 and proceed. Should I change their order on the server?

Thanks,

Jim

Go to http://www.777expats.com/photopost/, and click on my albums, then on 777_LHR. Sort the photos via file name and ascending order. They are then numbered 1-19 in sequence. When I bring up the first photo, then start a slide show, it jumps all over and only shows a few of them and stops. How can I get it to do the slide show from beginning to end in sequence?

what photos are shown depend on your settings and sort order correct. You can change the sortorders in edit categories and if your doing a slideshow in members gallery the switch in admin that members gallery shows all a users photos or not depends on what photos are shown since it will pull photos based on userid or userid and cat 500 if only members gallery photos are set to show.

I do not have permissions to view files under your link you posted

I did this though

http://www.777expats.com/photopost/s...201&ppuser=145

Clicked the first photo and the slideshow works fine if I click on the first photo that I am seeing. He has like 145 photos
