| remove the 'members list'...
from the classifieds section (the link that is). I've had a number of users question me as to why they couldn't access the list, and seem to be getting confused between the vbulletin member list, and the ppclassifieds member list. I think it would be less confusing if I could just remove the link altogether.

You would have to hack the pp-inc.php file in the function topmenu and remove the two links for memlist.

Hey chuck... in an effort to make it less "confusing" for unfamiliar visitors to both the pp scripts as well as the vbulletin scripts, I have removed the members list option from the classifieds section but was wondering if you could lend your opinion regarding the profile links on both the classifieds section and the photo section.
Specifically, what sort of negative impact would there be if I removed these as well? I'm just trying to think of any and every possible way I can make the site a bit less confusing and more streamlined before I go live with it?
Any other tips/ideas would be appreciated as well.

well the profile link in classifieds shows the users there subscriptions as well others the feedback section etc. So IMO you would be removing some functionality from classifieds by removing the profile links for classifieds and replacing them with vb profile links.

Maybe leave the profile link as is, but add some additional verbage that states it's directly related to the particular section, not the forum?

What would I have to do to rename the link from 'Profile' to 'Classifieds Profile', would I have to edit any other files other than the pp-inc.php file?

Well, I made the change to the classifieds section, simply by editing the language file, but on my attempts to do the same for the photo gallery section, I can not find a language file to edit. Where can I find this? And what can I add to change the color of these links so that they stand out a bit more?

You would edit the language file english.php in the languages subdirectory of the product. As far as changing colors etc you can add html to the links in whatever files your changing profile links in as there are many throughout the program
