Can't clear text field, etc.

Well, it didn't take me long to break something.

I attempted to put a link into the menu bar for the announcement box. Now I can't clear the text field on the admin Index Options screen. Entry is still there after deleting the entry and saving. There is also some code showing up inside the cell but outside the text box.

Can you tell me how to fix that?

You can not put html in fields where it does not say you can use html in so what specific field was this? You will need to run a query on the database to clear it but I need to know where.

Never mind...thanks for the reply. I did some exploration in the database based on your response, found it, deleted it, fixed.
