| Error code: 1 Can't rotate image
When I try to rotate an image, always get this message and the original image is losted: Error creating resized original!
Command:
"/usr/bin/mogrify" -quality 70 -geometry 250x188
Error code: 1
I already check for permissions in data and uploads and they are all at 777
The funny thing is that I can rotata images without problems in my pp galleries...
Any idea??

what is the full error? Is the data directory specific to that image 777?
You have checked that Imagemagick is working fine? Are you using Imagemagick or GD2 in Photopost?

I have noticed that only the thumbnails are lost after trying to rotate. Supersize and orginal images do rotate and can be seen clicking the supersize link or the broken image icon, only the thumbnail is lost after the error: http://www.fororeptiles.org/clasific...roduct=6&cat=6

Are the thumbs directories 777 for the cat in question?
This definately seems permissions oriented to your specific server. Have you set your image processor to GD2 and tested rotate? I did a test on my server and things appear fine. I rotated clockwise 90 degrees with no errors. http://www.reeftalk.com/classifieds/...php?product=54 |

Hi, I wonder if am I supposed to see the image files at the data folders??
Are those images stored in the database?
Thumbnails are made without problems once pictures for an add are uploaded, but they fail to show again once rotated.
The problem is just with the thumbanails, corresponding images to that broken thumbnails do rotate and shows as they should.

Definately looks like permissions are not set on the data directory at every level to 777. You can also check to make sure safe mode is off under phpinfo in admin. I have as I posted above shown you a clear test this functionality works. I use Imagemagick exclusively although I have tested with both image processors and images rotate fine with no problems with thumbnails. The thumbnails are easy. Basically if you look at the code in adm-product.php we rotate the regular and supersize image and then rebuild a thumbnail based on those changes images so basically if your system builds a thumbnail on upload it should rebuild a thumbnail. Check your thumbs directories under data and see if the thumbnails are there and what permissions are on your thumbnails they should be 644 or 666.

You have not enabled it so that that usergroup can edit ads thus I can not test your site.
You are free to email support@photopost dot com with admin login and ftp info.

Problem solved!!!
It turn to be ''Maximum size for a supersized image'' in ''Upload Ads Options''.
I dont really undertand how this value was afecting rotation but what i did was changing this from 250 to 600.
Since my classified is still being tested I wasn't very concern to have a big value for superzied images so while I had there 250 the value for width and height of the preview image was set to 400.
Thanks again Chuck for all of those tips!!

Thats extremely weird tough your supersize setting affects a thumbnail on rotate. Well glad you got it worked out.
