Ad Categories not there!

I've just set-up Classifieds and have attempted to place an ad to make sure everything is working okay.

The problem is that in step 2 of placing the ad, categories are not showing up in the drop down menu... have I done something wrong here?

Are you selecting an ad type that you have no categories set to use? I would suggest in ad types you turn off the ad types your not using then you should have no issues. Example only the FOR SALE type is used in a default install until you make other cats that use other types.

Thanks for the reply. I've been away from my computer for a couple of days, hence this late response.

All my categories are set to use an appropriate ad type. I've reset them in case I'd missed something, but all appears to be in order. Just to clarify, I'm using the following ad types; Items For Sale, Items Wanted, Items To Swap and Help Wanted. I've rechecked all categories once again and they are using the relevant ad type.

Still no sign of categories in the drop down menu at stage two of placing an ad.

Do the categories have marked that they contain ads? in edit categories.
