Creating subforums (subcategories, but as links in a row)

I know how to do this in the normal vBulletin admin panel, but not the classifieds admin panel. Is there a way to create subcategories so that they show up as the subforum style that can be done in normal vBulletin? In other words, have a parent category and a bunch of child forums?

The way it's showing up now:

=Parent Category

==Child Category 1

==Child Category 2

==Child Category 3

What I'd like to do is this:

=Parent Category

==Child Category 1, Child Category 2, Child Category 3, etc

Can this presently be done in vbClassfieds? I don't see the setting.

In Admin => Edit Categories you can edit your cats and assign a parent category to your categories. Also from edit cats if your starting from scratch you would add a category and then when viewing your cat list in edit cats you can hit add subcat.

Hi Chuck, thanks for the response.

It appears that when I do that (add subcat), or edit subcat to have a parent, the result is it only adds the subcats as completely new rows, rather a bunch of subcats separated by commas within one row, as I'd like. It present shows up as:

=Parent

==Subcat
==Subcat
==Subcat

Rather than

=Parent

=Subcat, Subcat, Subcat

which is what I'd like to do. Maybe I've misread something?

You are free to post this in the mod forum. I finally see your really asking how to modify the program and not a support question.

There is no way to do what you wish in the program.

Ah, okay, I'll post it in the mod forum, and perhaps the suggestions forum. It's a neat little feature to have, I think.
