QUERY who's subscribing to categories?

How to find out who's subscribing to which categories?

Is there any standard QUERY that can be run to get a listing of which users are subscribed to which categories?

Also, a QUERY to list ads that are SOLD, but still in the database?

Thanks!

well the notify table any query would just be returning userid's not usernames so results would not be like you want I would say.

As far as sold ads still in the system thats EASY.

SELECT * FROM cp_products WHERE approved='1' AND status != 0

As a non-professional programmer, I need just a bit more information on how to accomplish this.

Users can be limited on how many ads they can run in Usergroups Max Ads Limit. Since this number includes closed ads as well as active ads, a means of determining the total number of ads that a user has is important.

Is your command something that I use in PhpMyadmin or do I need to write a script to run it?

Just a few more clues please.

The command above is something you can run in phpmyadmin and should show closed ads still in the products table.

OK, I ran your line in the "Run SQL query/queries on database" window and got ten results. If that's it, not bad for a database of 518 active ads. Must be the ads are being dumped automatically (after 3 days) as planned.

May I suggest a few extra utility reports in the Admin page of your next beta release. That would be far less intimidating than dealing with PhpMyadmin Nerdvision. (I'm always afraid that I can screw something up in there.) Googling keywords (mysql query select tutorial) brings back a plethora of ad laden pages that have gone into keyword overload and say nothing. It's a jungle out there!

I'll keep studying.
