Prevent using image tag?

I thought I saw this here before, but how can I prevent my users from using the "[img]" and "[image]" tags in their ad descriptions?

They're posting images that are HUGE!

There's no way to censor anything in the ads?

You can elect not to parse bbcode so it displays by hacking your showproduct file not to do the convert_markups function

Will that effect any other aspect of the ad? Will it harm anything else?

I can't seem to find where to do that. Can I just comment something out? If so, what would it be?

If you could show us the code, that would be great.

Yes it will harm the fact that no bbcode will be parsed

this is the block in showproduct

Code:
Content visible to verified customers only.
maybe change to this but you get the idea. you can discuss this further in the mod corner since this is a hack question

Code:
Content visible to verified customers only.
