Limit length of auction?

Is there a way to limit the choices for the length of an auction? for example 3-days, 5-days, and 10-days? I would like to prevent my users from entering an auction of 2 years.

You can edit your templates and place the options for the select box duration that you wish to have on your site. There are several and you can make up your own should you wish.

The template you wish to edit is uploadproduct

Chuck, the same template is used by both the classified as placement and the auction ad placement. I would like to be able to have the classified ad run indefinitely if the poster wants, but not for an auction. I have feeling if I remove the "no expiration" menu item from the uploadproduct template, it will remove the option for both.

O.k....so that means I will have to allow non-expiring auctions along with non-expiring classifieds then right?

O.K. I'll give up on this and assume the two cannot be run differently. I'll add this to the feature suggestion forum.
