PhotoPost with vb3.6.8

Hi. I upgraded my vb to the newest version and I somehow lost my setting the vb navbar to select the classified. I tried simply to edit the vb navbar and add a simple link to point to /pp-classifieds/index.php But that is not showing up... Can some please tell me how I can get the [Classified] back into my vb navbar? I tried searching, but nothing... Please help. My users go to the forums, but there is no link to the classified.

You would need to edit your vbulletin navbar template in vb admin and place the link there for every style you have

Hi Chuck... not sure I follow. I am in my vb admin / editing the navbar... but what is the code to place in there. I put this:

<td class="vbmenu_control"><a href="/pp-classifieds/index.php$session[sessionurl_q]">$vbphrase[classifieds]</a></td>

but nothing is showing up on the navigation bar menu.... I don't remember what I placed there before to have a link to the pp-classified. Can you help?

Could you please tell me how to define that language string? I am sorry, but I am not very good at editing these things...

I had it in the navigation bar once, but I am not sure where I found it to add... Please help me...

vbulletin should have plenty of tutorials on how to use their product on their support site vbulletin.com

You need to define a new language string or simply change your html link in navbar just to say Classifieds

You know... I am trying to be patient here and I am desperately asking for some assistance... I am SIMPLY trying to be instructed of a way to have the pp-classified in my vb navbar... simple as that... why is that so difficult to answer? One of the things that convinced me to purchase pp-classified was supposedly great support. Hmmmm...

Now, I will try one more time... Please show me how I can add a link in my vb navbar so users can be directed to my pp-classified (which resides in a different directory). If you don't want to help, please say so and I'll dump the software and look for something else!

When I purchased the software many months ago, there was a simple tutorial on how to do that... I upgraded my vb and LOST the navbar settings... and my users can not get to the classified in the forum navbar like before... Please help!

Btw, here is the response from the vb team when I ask them the same question.

Yes, as I suspected. pp is not someting from vBulletin. Ask the author of your script to make it work so it shows correctly in the navbar.

If you installed pp classifieds in the forum directory

Code:
Content visible to verified customers only.
If its in the root directory

Code:
Content visible to verified customers only.

Thumbs up Thank You !

I knew how to do this from previous experience but had just plain forgotten.
I did remember I wanted it right after "calendar".
Very much appreciated choppedb !!
