Will the sendnotice.php send a e-mail out before an ad expires? If so how do I adjust this, because It doesn't seem to be working for me. I had an ad I placed on my own site, and I never received an expiration e-mail.

If you run that script regularly via a cron task yes it will email someone 3 days before the ad ends.

I am running the script via a cron task. It is still not sending the expiration e-mail. Is there something that might affect this. The ads are expiring but no e-mail is being sent to notify the members of my site.

I would believe that it would. I have sent e-mail to all my users though the admin portion of photo post class also. The register e-mail is also sent out when someone registers on www.cajunforsale.com.

Your mail should be sent out if your php mail works and your telling me ads are expiring correctly which tells me the script runs correctly so i am falling back on some sort of email issue. How do you know it does not send emails

Because I have placed a few ads on my own site and never received a notification that the ads were going to expire.

well I posted a dummy ad and changed the email on that test profile to mine but I doubt you want to leave it up that long.
I dont see any issues with the script I think you have a spam filter issue

Would it be possible that since my e-mail is the the same as the e-mail for www.cajunforsale.com. That it would not send a notice e-mail to me. Also I am the admin on the site. Could this affect it. I checked my wife's e-mail and it sent the notice 8 days before the ad expired for her.

I have just setup my CRON task. I have an item with an auction time of 3 days. I see CRON will let me know that an ad is about to expire 3 days before. So, will CRON email me after I create a 3 day ad saying it's about to expire?
I'd like to test to make sure CRON is running and will generate emails that warn about expiring ads. Is there anyway to do this without having to start a 7 day auction and have it tick down 4 days?

3 days thing is for ads. Auction emails are sent when an auction ends
