Adding info to VB Profile/Postbit

Hello Everyone, Finally have Classifieds installed on VBulletin board, and it looks great. There are a couple of little things though that will confuse my members. Our forum is a trading community and as such feedback is very important.

With the classifieds currently, clicking on the memberlist will only give ads for members with active ads.

There is currently no way to click to get to a members selling profile. It is very difficult for members to find Feedback on other members, ( Unless they have active ads)

I was wondering how I could add that member feedback profile from the classifieds to the VBulletin postbit or Profile.

Many thanks,

Terrie :)

Well you would have I guess add a link in the postbit template of vb and use whatever vb variable is for userid there. A link format to get to a members profile in classifieds is like this

http://www.domain.com/classifieds/member.php?uid=userid

Thankyou Chuck for that info. Im still considering the best way to do this.

The feedback profiles on my forum are going to be an integral part of it.

My biggest problem currently is that its very difficult for members to find feedback for those users who may not have active ads.

Is there a way to change the memberlist to also shows members who dont have active ads?

Im having trouble working out the best way for members to easily find feedback for other members.

what can you suggest?

Terrie:)

sure Chuck, I think a profile link would work for us. We just need somewhere members can easily go to find other members classifeds Feedback.... so the VB member profile would be good, so how do we add that to the VB member profile?

thanks :)

Probally best to ask questions like this in THE MOD CORNER where people can discuss code modifications between themselves outside product support
