Customizing the templates

I would like to customize my For Sale templates and I would just like to get an opinion if my plan is possible without making any changes to the database/tables.

Tasks
1. I would like to specify that each ad in a specific category would automatically get a prefix - for example S:Ad title (S: meaning Selling).

2. I would like the additional field that enables checkboxes to display the chosen options in more than one column. Right now you can list a lot of options but all will be displayed in one column and thus leave a lot of empty space on the right side of them. Since I will be using this for car ads and their extra features, this means a lot of options in each ad. Preferably only the selected options would be displayed in the ad.

3. To make ad titles more consistent, I would like to form the title from several different parts. I would for example have three fields where the user would put in year, make, model and then the ad title would display all these entries as the title - for example "2007 Ferrari Enzo".

I know it won't be simple but I'd just like to hear Chuck's or anyone else's opinion, if this is even theoretically possible by editing only the templates.

Theoretically possible yes but most likely not template modification involved here more like code hacking. Your trying to show things in a manner they are not designed to show but more importantly your trying to show things that do not exist or add things that do not exist in the present code into certain variables so these would all be more into code hacking the php files and or template modifications versus just template mods.

REMEMBER NEARLY ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE IN PHP CODING IT IS ALL ABOUT DO YOU HAVE THE ABILITY TO CODE IT
