Ads Expiring Emails
 

OK...I just upgraded from 2.5 to 2.6. I know that it should now delete ads two weeks after they expire but do I still have to set up a cron job to send out emails to warn people that their ads are expiring?

One other question. In the Upgrade.txt file...there is a line that says:

"1) Check for new config-inc.php variables, some recent additions are:

$cookie_domain has been added for website cookies"

I have NOT found that variable. Where is it supposed to be?

Yes you do cause that is the script that expires ads in the first place. Without running that nothing ever expires

That is speaking of an older version on the cookie matter you have far passed that part

Thanks....the part about cookies domain is still included in the Upgrade.txt file for the newest version. Just thought I would let you know..

Its a legacy discussion. There are people out there running older versions of the program
