Hide categories

Hi all,

Another stupid question.

Im trying to set up my classifieds. It is a car based site so I want to put 'Cars for Sale' - I want that to be a link, to open to a new page with the list of makes which then has the adverts.

At the moment I have a huge list of categories on the main page.

I hope that makes sense?

You set the number of children you want to display in the index options try selecting 0 so it only shows the parent cats
