| Extra Fields Question
Hey Chuck...hope all is well.
What needs to be done to make an added field required?
I have a few added fields in all my categories: - Your Location
- Will You Ship?
-and a few additional in specific categories: - Will You Part Out?
- Dimensions?
And have them *Noted as being "Required Fields" - however, many people ignore it - and Mods have to review the ads to ensure they have the required info.
What needs to be done to make these added fields required to be able to complete the uploading of the ad?

what are they the normal extra fields? Try this in uploadproduct templates in bold. remember to put a bold code for each extra field your using Code: Content visible to verified customers only.

It works for the regular 6 extra fields depending on which ones your using sure.

Hello Chuck,
I'm using uploadproduct.tmpl and added the code (without the bold markup) as stated above : Code: Content visible to verified customers only.
The form.extra1&2.value are corresponding (i guess?) with the Extra Field #1 & Extra Field #2. Still i can upload ads without filling out those fields  | |

You have to fill out title description buyemail and zipcode if enabled. Anything else you ad should indeed work.

Sorry, i did edited that file ... but uploaded the original file to see if that was a solution to the required fields problem.. you caught me in in the act doing that. I re uploaded my customized file.... so could you please review it again ?

Only issue I see is the code is right for extra 1 but not extra 2. Now of course you did not post a login so I cant actually test it
