Integration with phpBB2 after install

So I am kicking around the idea of installing phpBB2. I see that photopost can integrate with it. Since I already have photopost classifieds installed is it possible to now install phpBB2 and use the forum login data base for photopost? Also what about importing my photopost users to the phpBB2 user data base? I have no problem editing the sql entries or config files.
Hope that made sense.

You would need to reinstall classifieds and integrate it with phpbb2.

You can do it the hard way by doing a search on the forums for SWITCH INTEGRATION but your hard part is going to be the need to write an import script to import classifieds users into phpbb2.

I set up a test and fresh installs of both phpBB and photopost classifieds went well. I would manually ad members if I could but I do not see any ad members manually option in phpBB. Nor did I see that option in photopost. Seems like that would be a good option to have as in both my Invision Power Board and 68Classifieds I have had to ad members manually because they could not get the validation emails or other problems. I suppose it might be possible to ad them manually into the data base. As far as a script does anyone out there have such a beast to pull users from a photopost sql and ad them into a phpBB sql?

As a test I simply inserted a line into the phpBB_users sql table, I added the user name, user id number, email address and copied and pasted the password from the backup sql and it works. I set up an unknown user using my copied and pasted password and it worked. I even did a test ad upload and that worked. So long story short its possible to manually ad the users to the data base. I also tested the unknown user on phpBB and there is no problem posting topics.
I have a bit more work to do to import the existing ads but that should not be a problem. I will update with the progress tomorrow as bed time is calling.
