Link to ads

Is there any way to display a link to a members ads in the postbit in vbulletin?

My folder structure for links to member files is:

Content visible to verified customers only.

Where 1 is the userid (i think). Does the folder structure ever change?

You need to edit your postbit template and place a link there like that and replace the 1 with the userid variable in vb for that template. It should be located in that template for you to know which to use

So that url never changes? (ie /cat/501 or something like that)

This works fine except that with more users posting in the forum than in the classifieds, there needs to be a way of showing the link only if the user has active ads.

EDIT:

I had used this for a while, but removed it today because it is so repititious when only a few hundred users have ads out of thousands of forum posters. There needs to be a way to test whether the user actually has active ads.
