Ad images are no longer showing along with category images, got any ideas why not?

I woke up and found that images in my classifieds are no longer showing along with the images in my categories that I designated as thumbs. The NO IMAGE shows up. Is there a reason for this? Could this be a setting that removes images automatically after it expires? I am really confused and hope that I was not h*cked. But I am sure it has to be a rational explanation for this.

If you delete or expire an ad that you have selected as a category avatar then yes you need to go define a new one or turn off category avatars.

So when an ad expires, it atcually removes the images from my data directory?

I thought my ad had expired when it hasn't. Come to find out, some how in my data directory, there are no folders there for ads that are currently up and running. So when I try to edit the ad, it tells me that the /data/#/ is not available. And it isn't when I FTP and look inside. I have another thread that I thought was resolved. I know the folder has to be 777.

If your data folder is gone you need to ask your host where things are and what happened. Not much I can respond to about that issue there since it directly involves your server.
