Login problem when integrated with Vbulletin

Hi there

My main forum is at - www.uoforums.com
My classified test site is at - www.uotrade.net/classifieds/index.php

I've setup the integration aok, chose to use the VB3 templates, which also worked ok

But, when I login via the login box at the top, it logs in at the forum only

I've checked the settings, my cookie settings on both sites are

Cookie name - bb
Cookie domain - .uoforums.com
Cookie location - /

Can anyone suggest something?

Yea that's what I thought it might be, but it didn't work

I even tried it with two browsers, IE and Firefox

If I login, it logs me into the forum, but not the classified site

Check that when installing classifieds you specified your cookie prefix on step 4 of bb and that in your config-inc.php file the $vblicense line has the correct vb license number not customer number

You can post a regular user account here

Aye I Checked the VB license number, which is correct

I setup a test account on the forum, turned off the VB integration for the header/footer template bit, but it still won't login
When I login via the classified program, it says "Logged in!" then when it transfers back to the main page, i'm not logged in

I setup a test account with the username/password being "test"

Your not running your applications on the same domain names and your login works fine on classifieds you just need to set our application to create a cookie on its own domain name

Cookie name - bb
Cookie domain - .uotrade.net
Cookie location - /

Aye that works
My problem is this....

On my forum, the login box is in the header template (see www.uoforums.com)
So when you goto the classifieds site (www.uotrade.net/classifieds), the login box doesn't work, because as soon as you click "Login", it goes to the FORUM page and logs you in there, not at the trade site
Is there anyway to getting around that?

This is because your not installing the products on the same domain. You need to install them on the same domain if you want to run the enhanced vb3 integration
