CL: Random ads anywheer without red crosses

Hi

In classifieds, I configured in ACP that all ads without an images are not displayed in feature photos block (most recent and random). This works fine.

I have currently a script to show random ads from classifieds on an external page. This works fine except for those ads, which have no images. IE shows these ugly red crosses with white background for ads without an image.

Is there any way to use for those ads in classifieds a standard image I save somewhere?

So if a user uploads an ad without an image, this standard image is used automatically instead of nothing?

Or even better: is there any way to code it in my external script not to display a random ad, if there is no image with it?

This all depends how your coding your custom script. It seems to be you have not coded it correctly to translate ads which have no bigimage field to show the default noimage.gif file.

No you did not from what I see. Your pulling the direct results and printing a line with absolutely no check of any kind. There is nothing above which tells it to load a no image.gif if a thumbnail does not exist. Now if your trying to pull only ads which have images adding this in bold to your query above would help not pull ads with no images
