Problems with Edit Ad & SOLD IT! for Unregistered users

On my classifieds board, there are two Admin options available to unregistered users, and they are "Edit Ad" and "SOLD IT!", however, when they are clicked, the unregistered user gets forwarded to the Login page. Obviously, these options are useless if they don't go anywhere so how do I get this removed and have it show for the Administrators only?

Summary scenarios:

Registered User: no Admin options available but user options (ie. "Add to Watch List", etc) available. This works for me.

Administrator: all Admin options and user options. This works for me.

Unregistered User: "Edit Ad" and "SOLD IT!" Admin options available but no user option available. How do I get rid of the Admin options for these users? Would altering the $admmenu file do the trick?

Set that unregistered users can not edit ads in admin => edit usergroups

Thanks Chuck, but I already have it set like that. Any other ideas? Maybe set it to "yes" to allow editing since that is how it is for Registered Users and they don't see the Admin options?

**Edit: tried that and it didn't work either. The 2 Admin options are still showing. Here's a link:

well do you allow guests to upload ads?

Here is the conditional I see in showproduct.php and it seems very valid. Did you give them mod access? Is this ad uploaded by an unregistered user?

Yes, I allow guests to upload ads.
They do not have mod access.
Yes this ad is uploaded by an unregistered user.

Here is the problem, as best as I can describe it:

Registered user uploads an ad and the "Edit Ad" and "SOLD IT!" options are available to this user once he logs into the board. If logged in, these options are only available to this user for the ads posted by this user. All other ads do not show these options to this logged in user.

Unregistered user uploads an ad and the "Edit Ad" and "SOLD IT!" options are visible to every user/guest visiting the board. Since these guests are not logged into the board, these two options do not do anything and have no value.

Therefore, is there a way to include a line in the code to hide these options for any unregistered user / guest? Perhaps add somewhere that the userid>0 for these options to be visible??

Try making the line I noted above in bold to what it shows above and guests should not be able to see the link
