How do I call PhotoPost with Tiny Portal

Would it be possible to call the index page from another directory other than what is installed in, and it load correctly? What would be the code for this.

I have Tiny Portal installed and it seems like I should able to call the index page into a portal "block" to load the page.

I installed Photopost into a subdirectory of SMF called Ppost. I would like to call the Ppost page from a Tiny Porta "block" and have that load on the SMF pages. Then I could display that block wherever I wish. I would like the full index page to load. Does anyone think this is possible?

I hope that makes sense, it does to me.

thanks

You might want to ask at tiny portal or smf whereever this product is made. I have no experience on that program to be able to tell you how to call anything up like that. Basically the only way to call Photopost inside something is to use a frame as Photopost's header/footer

Thanks Chuck,

Your classifieds tie in nicely with the smf database, and that's great, but the visual element is just as important. It's a bit abrupt to send people to the classified page with no surrounding elements, headers, blocks, ect. It's almost as if they left my site.

I think it's something that should be addressed. When I purchased the license, seeing SMF integration on the features list. I thought that meant usable as is, especially for a paid product. And a visual tie in of some sort, since SMF is very "package" centric, with automatic use usually coming out of an installation.

I am working on getting this finished, I had already implemented an Iframe this evening.

You can see it here:

http://cnchobbies.com/index.php?page=6

The link is ugly, I'll probably change it to cnchobbies.com/classifieds/ and then just have that redirect to the link above.

In case anyone else is trying to do this. The link above is actually an html article I setup through the Tiny Portal article manager. The Iframe just calls the Photopost index.php page. I am not sure how it will appear once the classified pages start to grow. Iframes can be not all that attractive with scroll bars.

Thanks again, if anyone has a better idea or knows of a script I can use in SMF or Tiny Portal please post it here.

The iframe works well I think and is how you do things. You can place any html you wish over our program. We outline in our forums what level of integration we support for each forum and the only one that pulls everything like headers is vbulletin
