Limit length of the ad Title

I had a user to stuff the title with what a normal person would put in the description. Three full rows of text!

Is there a built in way to control the length of the title field?

Where are you talking here so I can assist. we only limit the title on certain things like pals and showcat script I beleive.

This was in the title line of an ad using the For Sale template. Basically, they put their description in the title line. I'll set up a demo on a test forum and post back here.

we never limit the title on the actual showproduct script if thats where your talking.
