what template do I edit please?

I would like to add a disclaimer to the classifieds page thats seen on every page, what template should I be looking at so I can add this? Thanks

You can try using the announcement box that is located in the index options in admin or edit your menubar or indexhead templates to include the html for such a disclaimer.

You can also place your html for this disclaimer in footer.htm and that will place it on every page of your site.
