authorized users "not authorized" to post

We have reports of many users (but not all oddly) that log into the forums successfully...are in the proper user group authorized to post ads...but are not shown the "place new ad" link as they should.

I have verified this on a handfull of users reporting the problem.

We did recently upgrade to the new version of VBB...however I recall asking here and that didnt seem to be a problem.

Any ideas as to what would cause this or ideas to fix it?

in fact...no new users since the upgrade can post ads...all prior users to the upgrade can.

Any idea how to fix this?

I got this from my board admin

"I expect there is somewhere in the ad system configuration that you must give it the name of the vB database. With the vB update, the vB database name changed. It is now vb_db364a instead of just vb_db.That may be where the problem lies."

You can input new database info in the config-inc.php file and also depending on your classifieds version and what version of vb you upgraded to you may need to update classifieds
