Approving Moderated Ads on Admin

I have noticed in the past that a check mark or indicator was added next to the "Admin" clicker on the main menu bar when a post needs to be approved. I haven't seen this lately and even before, it wasn't always there. Was I imagining this?

There is no doubt on my system which posts need moderated based on the user's group. Once I click into Admin > Approve / Bulk Actions, the new ads are there and they approve easily. It's just a case of "knowing" that there are posts that need to be approved.

Is there a set-up option that I am overlooking?
