move/delete their own images?

I have set 'Allow users to move/delete their own images?' to no but when a registered user edits his ad he can rotate, flip, flop, rebuild and delete images.

Is this normal?

I want registered users to be able to edit their ads but I'm not so sure if I want them to be able to edit the images in their ads.

yes move or delete ADS it should say. The option is the same as photopost pro it basically means you can not delete the ad. Your still able to manipulate images within the ad since images themselves do not need to be part of an ad.

So it's normal that when registered users edit their own ads that they can rebuild their thumbnails etc.?

If they can edit ads yes they can rebuild their thumbnails

If you dont want them to edit ads then in edit usergroups remove that permission

If they cannot edit their ads then they can also not click the SOLD! link to unlist their ad. If they cannot unlist their ad themselves then I would have to unlist/delete each ad upon request of my members. That's not so very convenient for them and would be too much work for me.

That's why I wish it was possible to dissalow users to edit, but to allow them to unlist their ads..
