Comments not showing

I am using classifieds as a standalone, and thus am also using the built in comment system.
When a user (registered or unregistered) posts a comment, all goes smoothly with the confirmation of the comment being successfully made, yet when the page reloads, the comment does not show up on the page.
I am receiving the email notification of their posting, and am also able to retrieve the comment in the database comments table.
The only modification I have made is in the quickcom template where I have altered the width of the column and the nr of rows.
The above problem occurs via quickcom and via the post a comment link. I am allowing comments to be made by unregistered and registered via the usergroups.
The comments made by Admin are showing.

Any ideas on what could be the matter?

Ahhhhh Geez, what is the matter with me? If I approve the comments via admin, they will show up!!!!

A pity though that users are not notified that their comments need to be approved (or moderated first).

those posts cannot be edited can they? i cant find how to do that.

An admin or the user may edit a comment if you wish.

In admin edit usergroups you set permissions accordingly.
