SOLD IT! you do not have permission

When a registered user clicks the SOLD IT! link in his ad then he gets this message:

'You do not have permission for this action!'

and after that the user is being redirected to this page: /classifieds/showproduct.php?product=

which is an empty/white page

What can be the reason that this is happening? I don't see an option to change this in edit usergroups or all options.

what version are you using? Have you hacked your files?

I have tested both 2.5 and the 2.6beta and both work fine in this regard.

I would suggest you reupload all relevent files.

I think I need to allow registered users to edit ads if I want them to be able to the SOLD IT! link. Is that correct?

I just edited the usergroup registered users to be able to edit ads, and now the SOLD IT! link works too. But I don't want registered users to be able to edit their ads so I don't think I can let them use the SOLD IT! link?

DUH yes on both our parts correct if they dont have edit permission they can not mark sold.

That is why you get the no permissions message much like if they click the edit link as well
