Question Charging To Post Classifieds Question

vB v3.6.2
Classifieds v2.4.2
==============

I'd like to hear from those of you out there who have already thought of how to make this better....

Currently I have my classifieds set to charge each member $5.00 per post of sale items.

This is causing some heartache with a very small part of my site. I'm trying to understand as well....as I know I'm not running a 'perfect' board....this is where I am coming to you all.

I understand where some of them are coming from....especially when they are selling an item for $20.00 - $30.00 bucks for example. I'm charging a flat fee of $5.00 for each post they make for a sale.

I would much rather set up the software to charge a percentage of what they are selling the item for, but the version I have does not allow that.

Are there other methods you all have gone with that work?

Thoughts on this are greatly appreciated.

Mark

Even in the latest it is flat fee. How most people get around this is you setup different categories on your classifieds where you know these are cheap items these are medium items and these are high items and you set a different price per category to post an ad.
