I would like to adjust the ad colours...

I assume that the ad colours are pulled in from Vbulletin.

Could you tell me specifically what background colours and text colours in the ads correspond to what background colours and text colours in vbulletin?

You may find a specific code map which style classes are written to vbulletin style classes by viewing the bottom of your vb3.php integration file in the forums subdirectory
