Changing price range values in search

I am not sure if this should be under mods. It seems like something we should be able to do so I am hoping this is the right place. If not please move it.

I have cars, property and other high value items on my site so the default values to search by price range are much too low.

I tried changing the values in search.php for the "Low" and "High" drop down menus, then I added the new values to the globals language file.

Now if I select any value that was not in the original list I get these errors:

Warning: mysql_num_rows(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL result resource in /home/carsales/public_html/classifieds/showcat.php on line 424

Warning: mysql_fetch_row(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL result resource in /home/carsales/public_html/classifieds/showcat.php on line 466

I can't see anything wrong with the drop down or the language file except that the drop down menus have a blank line between the 1,000,000 and up values and the lower values.

Can anyone suggest what may be wrong? I am guessing something else has to be changed but I don't know what.

I found the answer. I had put commas in the values.

Please delete this thread or leave it for anyone as dumb as I am.
