Who's On Line Integration?

Group,

From what I can see Photo Post Pro communicates with Vbulletins Who's Online feature and shows when a member is in Photo Post Pro, but this doesnt work in Photo Post Classifieds.

Are their plans to add this into Photo Post Classifieds anytime soon?

I don't beleive there is a setting anywhere in the Classifieds admin cp that disables this feature is there?

Doug

Photopost does not work with vb who's online by default it uses a mod as do all our products for vbulletin there is a mod for this in each products mod forum

The Photopost locations never show in vbulletin without modifying things. You are going to get unknown location

Oh but I am getting something other than that. And I have NOT made any modifications for this.

It shows me "Viewing Gallery Index" when at the main level and "Unknown Location /gallery/showgallery.php?cat=519" when actually in a specific catagory. This is more than what VB Gallery is showing me. All i get with VB Gallery is "Viewing Index" until im in a cat with upload permissions.

Anyway maybe this is what you mean by it doesnt support without modification that this is all it will do?

Anyway gotta run... back later.

well your talking about vbulletin and not photopost code thus you need to modify your vbulletin to know what to do when it shows a photopost user in who's online of vb

Chuck,

I am not talking about anykind of code wheather vbulletin or photo post.

Lets just forget about it, I think I may have just looked at it wrong or something as far as what its showing between the two programs and thought that it was working for one program and not the other.

Hopfully in the future you guys or someone else can come up with a fix or integration to allow this to work for both programs without the need of doing any hacking or modifications.

Anyway have a nice day. We'll chat again.

It will ALWAYS need to be a hack since what we are talking about here is a modification to vbulletin code as I said in my last post. We code the Photopost products and have no control over what vbulletin does with there code hense the need for code hacks. The hacks I have made to show photopost locations in vbulletin's who's online are here

Chuck,

Thank you for the links. Do you plan to have something out for VB Gallery soon?

Has anybody tested the above Classified and Gallery hacks on vB 2.6.8 (2) because although it's much better it's not quit right for me....

Are there newer versions than:
- pp_wol_gallery_v1.5
- pp_wol_classifieds_v1

If somebody is using the search within Gallery or is looking a Category within Classifieds I'm still getting errors.
