Edit the title for the classifieds.

How do I get there and how Please?
IE
<head><title>Coinwash.com, Laundromat classified, Laundromat for sale,Laundrymat for sale, coin wash, coinwash, Laundromat businesses - Powered by PhotoPost Classifieds</title>

I believe we had this problem last time with the classifieds too, because there is no "Global Options"...I remember before we were referred to the Global Options page, which didn't exist.

You may not remove that from your program unless you purchase a branding free option from our online store. Your license is currently normal with no brand free purchased so you must keep the copyright in place on your site.

I don't think you understand what I am asking. I am NOT asking to remove your PhotoPost branding. I'm happy to let people know that PhotoPost powers my classifieds page. I was merely letting the forum know which version of PhotoPost I am using.

In the Settings/Global Options/Title, I have the following written:
Coinwash.com Classifieds

However, my classifieds page title shows:
Coinwash.com, Laundromat classified, Laundromat for sale,Laundrymat for sale, coin wash, coinwash, Laundromat businesses - Powered by PhotoPost Classifieds

I hope that this more clearly demonstrates the problem I am having.

Okay well your last post here have the copyright shown indicating this is what you wanted to remove which is why I stated you can not remove it.

You can edit pp-inc.php and search 3 times for this and remove it

You would ftp to your site and edit that file in your classifieds directory

So, I found the file, pp-inc.php, here:

Coinwash.com/html/devmb/classifiedads/

I think that this is you (Chuck) was referring to in that file:

First Occurrence:

$theader = str_replace( "<head>","<head><title>{$Globals['galleryname']} - {$titlereplace} - Powered by PhotoPost Classifieds</title>", $theader);

Second Occurrence:

<title>{$Globals['galleryname']} - {$titlereplace} - Powered by PhotoPost Classifieds</title>

Third Occurrence:

$theader = str_replace( "<head>","<head>\n$redircode\n<title>{$Globals['galleryname']} - {$titlereplace} - Powered by PhotoPost</title>", $theader );

Now, I’m not sure what needs to be modified in each of these three lines to get the title to display correctly.

I'm jumping through these hoops

Please tell me what to change and how too.

Your site title as the person meantioned in the first post of this thread is the first input box in your global options in admin there is not other way to explain this to you.

As far as the powered by you want to remove that to achieve what you want. Remove means delete so yes remove those lines in the pp-inc.php file

Johnathon with all due respect you always have a problem with our support because you simply do not understand what we are saying. I do not think I can explain things any simpler than I already have so here it goes again.

You have said you want to remove Powered by Photopost Classifieds in the title therefore you need to delete the string noted from pp-inc.php. You have even posted the lines in this thread. Just remove the words noted. This is a code edit or modification and not technically product support since we support our code as written.

Your question here has been answered many times in this thread. If you want to remove the Powered by PhotoPost Classifieds from your page title you must that phrase 3 times from pp-inc.php. You have even linked the lines in pp-inc.php above.

How do you feel your question has not been answered in a support manner?

Look at your attachment.

what you want to do is code modification other than changing the name of your site Coinwash.com

This falls outside product support since we support the code as it is written. I could refer you to post in our modification forums if you choose to post there where support does not respond.

If you make edit noted in this thread that will remove the powered by which is what you asked.

If your looking at something else your looking at editing even more code files since the title is also added to depending on the script

Thats the title of the site.

However as noted in a normal classifieds application The page title changes by script. Example all sites have the Powered by Photopost in the title on the end. That is part of the script. Now your page title is usually made of this

SITE TITLE -- PRODUCT TITLE OR CATEGORY NAME -- POWERED BY STATEMENT

This is normal and is exactly what I see on your examples. If your trying to change this then that is code modification. I think I have outlined any steps you would want to take to change the code
