Want to be notified by email when users post replies?

When someone is posting an ad, I would like "Want to be notified by email when users post replies?" to be defualted to YES instead of no. How can I make this change? Thanks!

IN the uploadproduct templates you can move the selected="$selected" to be under yes instead of no for the notify box

Code:
Content visible to verified customers only.

On the same subject:
I just discovered that the posters email adress is revealed to the subscribers when a comment is posted...

How can I change the sender to no_reply?

Added: Looking at contact.php it seems like all mail is handled the same way.
Then, what I really would like is to change this to Invision PM instead...

Yes contact.php hides the subscribers email from buyers and sends an email to the subscriber with the email of a potential buyer. The subscriber then chooses to contact or not.

We have a very strict privacy policy on our forum and this could have cased serious trouble as I invited our users to test the Classifieds installation...
Hopefully I did manage to close it before anyone tried the comment function...

I really don't see the need for disclosing the email adress of a user that makes a comment to an ad, username should be enough..

What do you think about the possibility of changing contact.php to use Invision PM instead?

comments.php and contact.php are two separate scripts. when you make a comment the users email is not displayed on the site. when a user contacts a seller to find out about buying an ad of course the seller is going to be send the email he enters to be email at. This is the whole purpose of the contact script.

You may modify your scripts to suit your specific needs.

Yes, I understand that.
But the problem is that if you make a comment to an ad, your adress is disclosed to all users who subscribe to that ad. Or am I wrong here?

a user's email is not sent on notify of a comment.

This is the notify comment email here

Code:
Content visible to verified customers only.
